A while back I noticed that I had lots of interests in lots of different things, all spread out in lots of different places around the internet. This site has a couple of aims, but mainly it’s to serve as a single platform that points to everything else that I do - it’s almost what’s called a ‘mashup’ if you’re in the web business; if you’re not read Web Developer Magazine, you’ll learn something new. Think of this as being my media portfolio - an opportunity to see beyond the Computer Science degree that I have. (Which from experience, something a lot of HR professionals can’t seem to do…)

One of the other aims of this site is to try and piece together the commonality of my interests. All in one place, it’s staringly obvious but it wasn’t always this way when you consider the incredibly technical background I have. Slowly but surely I’ve become increasingly frustrated by the IT world and I’m doing my best to break out of it into something more creative. To put simply, I have a strong love of the media, particularly radio, and I really love photography and graphic design. More recently, after beginning to write again, I’ve started to become fascinated by journalism.

If you can see that I’m really passionate about creative media, are willing to look beyond the choices I made almost 10 years ago to go into computing, and most importantly, you can help me out, then I’d love to hear from you.
